No don't use it! The PSU will supply 19V ("voltage source") and will probably damage the load. There are PSUs that limit output current by dropping/regulating the output voltage (which then can be considered a "current source"), but as long as the required current isn't constant that wouldn't work either.
AsI said, lights and fans, I use them "in pairs". Meaning in series. Take 12V LED bulbs. Two of them, you have four wires (two each). Connect two together, and the other two to 24V + and -. Doesn't matter which*. Each will use 12V. Lights look good in pairs :·) Fans, polarity (+ or -) matters - for flow direction.
Ive followed this primitive wiring diagram, but no matter which DC boost converter I plug in, none of them do anything. I've been through four MT3608's now, and I can't get a single one to go past the battery voltage of 3,6v. I must be doing something wrong, but what could it be?
